Happy New Year, Stingrays!

We hope that this email finds you healthy and enjoying a great start to 2022. The New Mark Swim Team Board of Directors is excited for another successful summer swim season and hope that it includes you! We are reaching out to you to share initial information as well as to get your help as we look towards our 2022 Season start date of Tuesday, May 31st (as long as there are no changes to the NKC School District schedule).

As we plan for the coming year, we all know that a solid coaching staff is necessary for our kiddos’ success. New Mark Swim Team prides itself on former Stingrays becoming fantastic coaches. This year will be no different. Jack Roberts, a former Stingray swimmer and former head coach, will be returning for another summer as our Head Coach. It is wonderful to have him back for 2022 as he brings great passion and commitment to swimming. Additionally, we will be working to finalize our assistant coaches in the coming weeks.

Below are a few important items for our season and we hope you can help:

1. Officials and Stroke & Turn Judges NEEDED

In order to host meets and participate in meets, we need volunteers to become certified meet officials and stroke and turn judges. This does require more than just signing up as you will need to complete training requirements and shadow at meets this Winter/Spring. If you are interested, please reach out to the email below for more information.

2. Committee Volunteers NEEDED

The Board is working to develop committees that will concentrate on a variety of events and items and we need you to assist on these committees. If interested in serving on a committee for things such as Rookie Program, fundraisers, end of season banquet, and other special events, please reply to the email below with an area of interest.

3. Registration Coming Soon - March 6th

Registration has been set. Returning Families will be able to register for their swimmers beginning at 8am on Sunday, March 6th. You will register through our SwimTopia website as we did last year. New Families will be able to register at 8am on Sunday, March 20th. More information will be sent again during the last week in February.

4. Board of Directors - 2023 Season

While it seems like a long way off, it is time to start thinking about Summer of 2023. The New Mark Board of Directors will need a number of spots filled for next season.
